To plan a new journey zoom into the map and select a place to start from/end at by clicking places on the map.
Click on 'Calculate journey' to display the route.

Enter an address or postcode to go to that location.
For instance, "Birmingham" or "Chester Zoo".
Results are biased towards UK addresses.

You can add in a new POI by zooming into the map and right-clicking on the place you want to add. Select "Add new POI" from the popup menu that appears. This menu option will only appear if you are fully zoomed into the map.

Use the location search feature to search for a postcode or town name to assist adding the POI.

Add places of interest other Waterway users will find useful such as:

• Pubs
• Takeaways
• Boat yards
• Sanatary stations
• Water points

Click on a waterway marker to select it and display a menu (or right click anywhere)
